The Foundation

There is a reliance on self-help to provide you with the tools that will guide you to love, happiness, wealth or health. Some tools teach that you already possess everything and others show you how to create them from potential. The tools are not wrong and self-help is not failing to guide you.

Why then do you feel that your journey of self-help is missing something?

Why are the tools that have been so successful for others not working for you?

The Foundation forms the bridge between any self-help tool and the individuality of the user. It transforms someone else’s formula into an essence and empowers you to trust yourself to personalise those tools to fit into your paradigm, your life and your belief system.

In so doing, The Foundation provides a strong basis for change management in individuals and corporate culture. Applying the five steps will help people to adapt to their changing environment and even to implement change themselves.

The Foundation provides five key steps that will assist you in using any self-help tool:

  1. It's only about you
  2. Tell yourself the truth
  3. Be conscious
  4. Do something different
  5. Have fun

Finding your own formula to your life is more fun than following someone else’s. Relying on yourself and trusting that you have the answer to every question you will ever ask is more enlightening than anything you have ever been taught.

The Foundation is available as an introductory talk or a half or full day workshop.

The course is presented by Greg Arthur who has extensive experience in change management and public speaking.

Outcomes of The Foundation

The Foundation will supplement all courses offered by self-help practitioners and employers and all tools utilised by HR to guide individuals personally and professionally. It helps people to take these general tools and make them their own as no one knows them better than they do themselves. The Foundation is particularly effective in the context of corporate change management.

The introductory talk introduces the five steps with some key concepts that will help people understand why someone else’s formula for happiness and success may not work for them and will motivate them to work out their own, based on what they already know about themselves. It also encourages the participants to accept and embrace change in their lives and their work environment.

The talk is approximately 45 minutes long, with 15 minutes for Q&A; a total of one hour.

The half- and full-day workshops expand on the concepts of the introductory talk, providing practical examples that give the five steps deeper meaning for the participants and the courage to do something different. These steps take people out of their self-created boxes and help them to see themselves as the limitless beings they are.

“(Greg) gave a motivational talk / presentation, which was well received by the staff. Giving them an opportunity for self reflection, and some practical tools on how to improve their lives … I can recommend the presentation” – Eugene le Grange, Sandton Branch Manager, Standard Bank
