… and allow your children to discover

The information age raises the challenge where we are no longer only influenced by those around us but are now subject to the views and events of the whole planet. This makes things particularly difficult for a parent whose natural instinct is to protect their child. How do you protect the innocence of the one you love when they are exposed to vastly differing external influences through computers at home, at school and at friends, as well as through their mobile phones?

Step Aside is a blog especially for parents, guiding you to provide the foundation to your children, so that they can make their own choices in this vast world of information. It helps you provide your children with the environment and the guidelines; the basic tools for life, such as to put themselves first, have fun, and endeavour to never harm others, especially themselves. This teaches them to make their own choices responsibly and gives them grounding, which then allows them the freedom to explore.
